Non-Rotating Cementing Plug for Casing

A non-rotating cementing plug is a casing cementing tool designed to separate cement slurry from other fluids, wipe the casing inner wall, and engage with a compatible landing system to help restrict plug rotation during drill-out.

The bottom cementing plug is normally pumped ahead of the cement slurry to reduce contamination from fluids already inside the casing. The top cementing plug is released behind the cement slurry to separate it from the displacement fluid and provide a clear indication when displacement is completed.

The anti-rotation profile on the plug engages with a matching profile in the landing collar, float collar, or receiver plate. After landing, this engagement helps hold the plug against rotation during drilling or milling. The plug and landing equipment must use compatible profiles.

Please provide the casing outside diameter, casing weight, wall thickness or internal diameter, plug type, landing equipment details, operating temperature, expected differential pressure, cementing program, and required quantity. A drawing or existing sample is recommended for non-standard designs.

Yes. The plug dimensions can be selected or customized for casing manufactured to API 5CT sizes. Because casing internal diameter changes with casing weight and wall thickness, the casing size alone is not sufficient for final plug selection.
