High-quality forgings are selected through external observation (checking dimensions, surface defects like cracks or bubbles) and internal testing (analyzing chemical composition, microstructure, and mechanical properties like tensile strength and hardness using specialized instruments).

The process includes pier roughening, elongation, punching, and expanding. Free forging uses a horse screw for hole expansion, while ring rolling uses rolling. Both methods transform solid metal into specific shapes at high temperatures.

Available materials include C45 and 42CrMo, adhering to international standards such as ASTM, AISI, DIN, JIS, and BS.
