42CrMo Steel Round Forging for Spare Parts

Forging transforms solid metal from one shape to another (solid-to-solid process), including extrusion and punching. Casting transforms liquid metal into a solid shape (solid-liquid-solid process) by pouring molten metal into a mold. Forging is a plastic forming process, while casting focuses on melting and pouring.

Quality is determined by external observation (checking dimensions, surface defects like cracks or bubbles) and internal testing (analyzing chemical composition, macroscopic/microscopic structures, and mechanical properties like tensile strength and hardness using specialized instruments).

The process includes pier roughening, elongation, punching, and expanding. Free forging uses a horse screw to expand holes, while ring rolling uses rolling. Both methods ensure the structural integrity of the final product.

The product uses 42CrMo steel, adhering to GB standards. It meets ISO9001:2015 and GB/T19001-2015 certifications. The material offers high hardness, strength, and wear resistance after quenching and tempering.
