Forging transforms solid metal from one shape to another through plastic forming (hot or cold), including extrusion and punching. Casting transforms liquid metal into a solid shape by pouring molten metal into a mold. Forging is a solid-to-solid process, while casting is a solid-liquid-solid process.

Quality is determined by external observation (checking dimensions, surface defects like cracks or bubbles) and internal testing (analyzing chemical composition, macroscopic/microscopic structures, and mechanical properties like tensile strength and hardness using specialized instruments).

The process mainly includes pier roughening, elongation, punching, and expanding. Free forging uses a horse screw to expand holes, while ring rolling uses rolling. Both methods aim to achieve the desired shape and internal structure.

We support materials like 45# steel, C45, and 42CrMo. Standards include GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN, JIS, and BS. We also offer SM45 for plastic mold applications with lower phosphorus and sulfur content.
