Q:What are the characteristics of the forging process for blank forgings?
A:
The process for circular forgings includes pier roughening, elongation, punching, and expanding. Free forging uses a horse screw for hole expansion, while ring rolling uses rolling. Both are plastic forming processes in the solid state.
