Steel Round Forging Bar for Cold Chamber Die/ Auto Parts

Forging transforms solid metal from one shape to another through plastic deformation (hot or cold processing), while casting transforms liquid metal into a solid shape by pouring it into a mold. Forging improves mechanical properties, whereas casting focuses on melting and molding.

High-quality forgings are selected through external observation (checking dimensions, surface defects like cracks or wrinkles) and internal testing (analyzing chemical composition, microstructure, and mechanical properties like tensile strength and hardness using specialized instruments).

The process includes pier roughening, elongation, punching, and expanding. Free forging uses a horse screw for expanding holes, while ring rolling uses rolling. Both methods ensure precise shaping and structural integrity.

We use 45# carbon structural steel (equivalent to S45C, 1045, SM45) meeting GB/T699-1999, ASTM, AISI, DIN, JIS, and BS standards. The steel offers high hardness, strength, and wear resistance after quenching and tempering.

We offer flexible customization including full customization, minor customization, and customization from designs or samples. Options include various shapes (round, square, shaft, ring, cylinder) and surface treatments (black, rough, fine machined).
