Q:How do I draw liquid into the pipette?
A:
To aspirate, gently squeeze the elastic bulb to expel air, insert the precision tip into the liquid, and slowly release the bulb. This creates a vacuum that draws the liquid into the barrel up to the desired volume marking. Avoid releasing the bulb too quickly to prevent splashing or overfilling.
Q:How do I dispense liquid from the pipette?
A:
Position the pipette tip over the target vessel at a slight angle. Slowly and steadily squeeze the bulb to push the plunger down, releasing the liquid drop by drop or in a stream. For complete emptying, compress the bulb fully until all liquid is expelled.
