Q:How many channels can the R72 handle, and can it accept different sensor signals simultaneously?
A:
The R72 supports up to 32 channels of totally isolated universal inputs. It can process Thermocouples (K, S, R, B, E, J, T, N, etc.), RTDs (Pt100, Cu50, Cu53), and analog signals 4-20mA,0-5V,0-10V,0-100mA all in one device. Each channel is independently configurable via the software interface, eliminating the need for signal converters.
Q:Is the screen clear enough for high-density data monitoring in a laboratory environment?
A:
Yes, the R72 features a 7-inch widescreen TFT color LCD with 800*480 high-resolution. It provides a clear view of real-time data, trend curves, and bar graphs. With a 1-second sampling period and 0.2% F.S. accuracy.
Q:We have very limited space in our control panel. What is the mounting depth of the R72?
A:
The R72 utilizes an Ultra-short Case Design with a mounting depth of only 65.5mm. This is much slimmer than standard 7-inch recorders on the market, making it perfect for compact automation cabinets and portable monitoring equipment. The panel size is 184x144mm with a standard 138x138mm cutout.
Q:Does the R72 support remote data access via Ethernet or SCADA systems?
A:
Yes. It comes with standard RS485 (Modbus RTU) and optional Ethernet (RJ45) ports. It supports Modbus TCP/RTU protocols for seamless integration with PLCs, SCADA, or HMI systems. We also provide free PC-side data management software for remote analysis and Excel data export.
Q:Can this unit provide power distribution for my pressure or flow transmitters?
A:
Definitely. The R72 can be configured with up to 2 routes of DC 24V Distribution (30mA per route). This allows the recorder to power your 2-wire sensors directly, reducing external wiring complexity and system costs. It also supports up to 12-way alarm relay outputs for critical safety interlocking.
