Q:How does the Vortex Flow Meter handle high-vibration industrial pipelines?

Our flowmeter utilizes advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and a dual-sensor structural design. This technology effectively filters out mechanical vibration interference and electrical noise. The upgraded shock-resistant processor can further ensure stable readings even in complex factory environments. Unlike traditional analog meters, our vortex flow meters provide a clean signal with an accuracy of plus or minus 1.0 percent for liquids and plus or minus 1.5 percent for gas or steam.
Q:Can this meter accurately measure both saturated and over-heated steam?
A:
Yes.the LUGB series is specifically designed for steam applications with a wide temperature range of -40 degrees c to 250 degrees c (standard) and up to 350 degrees c for high-temperature versions.we provide integrated temperature and pressure compensation modules to calculate mass flow accurately,preventing "Steam loss" Due to density changes.
Q:What are the requirements for straight pipe sections to ensure peak performance?
A:
To maintain a stable Karman vortex street, we recommend a minimum of 10D (upstream) and 5D (downstream) for standard straight pipes. If there are T-sections or valves upstream, the requirement increases to 20D-50D.
Q:What output signals are available for integration with my DCS/PLC system?
A:
We offer full-scale connectivity options: 3-wire Pulse, 2-wire 4-20mA, and digital protocols including RS485 Modbus RTU and HART. The meter can be powered by 24VDC or a built-in 3.6V lithium battery. Our HART-compatible versions allow for remote parameter setting and diagnostics, significantly reducing maintenance time.
Q:Is the CG Vortex Meter suitable for low-flow rate detection?
A:
Our meters feature a wide turndown ratio of 1:10 to 1:15. For low-flow applications, we use high-sensitivity piezoelectric crystals that can detect vortex frequencies even at low velocities (starting from 0.5m/s for liquids). For very large pipes with low flow, we recommend our Insertion Vortex Flow Meter for more cost-effective and accurate measurement.
