Q:What is a disc diffuser?
A:
Fine bubble disc diffuser is a core aeration component for wastewater treatment, composed of ABS/PP support base, elastic rubber membrane, sealing ring and one-way check valve. Under air pressure, membrane slits open to release micro bubbles; when air supply stops, slits automatically close to prevent backwater clogging, widely used in municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, aquaculture oxygenation.
Q:What sizes do you supply for disc diffusers?
A:
Standard mainstream sizes: DD215mm, DD260mm,DD350mm. Custom diameter, thread interface (3/4" NPT standard) and structural customization are supported.
Q:Recommended installation depth & spacing?
A:
Install 0.3 to 0.5m above tank bottom, standard installation spacing 500 to 800mm. High COD organic wastewater reduces spacing to 300 to 500mm for uniform oxygen supply. All diffusers must be on the same horizontal level.
Q:Can it be installed for intermittent aeration?
A:
Yes, built-in one-way non-return valve prevents sewage backflow into air pipeline during intermittent stop-air, anti-clogging performance superior to ceramic diffusers.
