Q:What is a shaftless trommel screen?
A:
A rotary screening machine that separates materials by particle size. It has no central shaft - the drum rotates around its own axis, letting long or fibrous materials pass through freely.
Q:What is the difference between shaftless and shafted trommel?
A:
A shaftless screen has no center shaft, so wires, bags, roots and cloth cannot wrap around anything - more reliable for sticky, fibrous or mixed waste, and screens are changed without removing any shaft.
Q:What materials can it process?
A:
Aggregates and sand, soil/rock mixtures, C&D waste, MSW, aged landfill waste, coal and slurry, chemical materials and biomass.
Q:How do I choose the right model?
A:
Select by required capacity, feed size and screening precision; add about 20% margin to your actual throughput. Standard models cover 50-300 t/h.
Q:What screen apertures are available?
A:
Apertures from 5 to 100 mm, fully customizable, single or multi-layer (one layer = two fractions, two layers = three fractions).
