The biggest advantage is that it prevents blistering and delamination,problems often caused by trapped moisture in the concrete or asphalt base,which significantly extends the track's service life.

We recommend a stable asphalt or concrete base with a slight slope 0.5%-1%for drainage. The base must be clean, dry moisture content <5%, and free of oil or dust. Crucially, because our system is breathable, it tolerates higher residual moisture in the base than non-breathable systems,but a proper primer,sealer is still advised for optimal bonding.
