The 6x12+7FC is significantly more flexible and lighter. With 7 independent fiber cores, it handles almost like a natural fiber rope. This makes it much easier to manual splice and bend around small hooks, which is ideal for fishing nets and light-duty marine tasks where 6x19 would be too stiff.

Q:Is this rope suitable for heavy-duty lifting cranes?

No. Due to its high fiber content and fewer steel wires, 6x12+7FC has a lower breaking strength than 6x19 or 6x37. It is designed for light-duty hoisting, marine guardrails, fishing trawls, and agricultural fencing. For heavy overhead lifting, please consult us for our 6x36 or 35Wx7 series.

Q:How long will the galvanized coating last in saltwater?

We use Hot-Dipped Galvanization with a heavy zinc coating. Under normal marine conditions, it provides excellent protection against rust. For even longer life in extreme salinity, we recommend our Class A Galvanized version combined with regular application of anti-corrosive marine grease.

Q:Can I get this rope in specific lengths like 100m or 200m coils?

Yes! While our standard packing is 500m/1000m on wooden reels, we can provide soft coils (hanks) of 100m or 200m wrapped in waterproof PVC for retail or easier manual handling on decks.
