It is suitable for water, air, oil, weak acid, and alkali. Strong corrosive media requires lined or stainless steel types, while high-temperature media needs metal-sealed butterfly valves.
Q:How to judge the quality of a butterfly valve?
A:
Check for heavier weight indicating better material, smooth casting without pores or cracks, smooth operation without jamming, good sealing performance, and a complete nameplate with identification.
