Q:What media is it suitable for?
A:
Butterfly valves can be used for water, air, oil, weak acid and alkali. Strong corrosive media requires lined or stainless steel types. High-temperature media needs metal-sealed butterfly valves.
Q:How to judge the quality of a butterfly valve?
A:
Heavier weight usually means better material. Smooth casting without pores or cracks, smooth operation, no jamming, good sealing performance, and complete nameplate and identification indicate quality.
Q:Are there national and industrial standards?
A:
Yes, the main Chinese standard is GB/T 12238. Regular products have a nameplate, certificate, and marked pressure, diameter and material.
Q:Is installation difficult?
A:
