Q:Is detergent needed during the cleaning process?

No detergent is needed. Oil mist is easily cleaned with hot water for our honeycomb filter cells. The water in the tank is heated and used to wash the filter cells directly.

The washing period depends on your settings and washing time. Generally, the ESP needs to be washed every three to four weeks by the auto-clean device. If fume levels are heavy, you can shorten the washing period.
