AI-Powered supplier vetting

SummaryQingdao LAFU Packaging Technology Co., Ltd is a China-based limited-company manufacturer/factory in Shandong supplying sugarcane and paper food-service packaging and disposable cutlery. It reports 3D design, ODM, OEM, and sample/design customization capabilities, but no new products in the past year and no available SDK. The supplier lists multiple management-system certifications and operates more than 10 production lines with 6–10 quality-control staff; however, the stated employee count is only 7, creating an internal data inconsistency. Export sales account for 90%, and the supplier has self-operated import/export rights. Complaint handling and corrective/preventive-action procedures lack written procedures or records. Financial evidence is insufficient because the slices provide years rather than financial results. Customer-related evidence is limited to OEM service for well-known brands, without identifiable customer names or case details.

Supplier typeThe supplier is identified as Qingdao LAFU Packaging Technology Co., Ltd., a China-based limited company and manufacturer/factory. Its stated business scope includes food-use packaging, packaging services, packaging equipment, and related import/export activities, while its offered products focus on paper and sugarcane tableware and disposable cutlery.

CertificationsThe supplier lists BSCI, SHE Audits, BRC, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP certifications or audit qualifications. The slice does not provide certificate numbers, scopes, issuing dates, or validity details, so the assessment is based only on the stated holdings.

After-Sales capabilityThe supplier has no written procedures or records for effectively handling customer complaints, and it also lacks written corrective and preventive-action procedures or records. These are explicit weaknesses in documented after-sales and service-improvement controls.

R&D capabilityThe supplier identifies itself as a professional technical supplier, offers 3D software design, ODM services, and new-material research and development within its business scope. However, it reported no new products in the past year and has no available SDK, indicating a mixed innovation profile rather than fully demonstrated product innovation.

Production capacityThe supplier is described as a manufacturer/factory with more than 10 production lines, 6–10 quality-control staff, and a broad disposable food-packaging product range. It also reports 90% export sales and self-operated import/export rights. However, the stated total employee count of 7 conflicts with the production-line and quality-staff figures, so operational scale should be verified.

Customization capabilityThe supplier explicitly provides customization from samples and designs, along with 3D software design services and ODM capability. These statements directly support its ability to develop or adapt products according to customer requirements.
