Q:What is the difference between the three cleaning solutions?
A:
The 500ml Clear solution is for flushing minor clogs. The 250ml Green solution is for extreme stubborn clogs and flushing ink tubing. The 250ml Red solution is for short-time printhead maintenance and lubrication.
Q:Can I use the maintenance solution to unclog printheads?
A:
No, the maintenance solution does not clean or unclog printheads. It is only for lubrication and preservation. Use the Clear or Green solutions for unclogging.
Q:How should I apply the Extreme Cleaning Solution?
A:
For damper/CIS systems, flush the printheads. For cartridge systems, fill cleaning cartridges and run up to 3 cleaning cycles. It can also be applied with swabs to solidified ink around the printhead or wiper blade.
Q:Are there any safety warnings for using these solutions?
A:
Yes, do not insert the solutions into the capping station or printhead channels. Ensure printheads are working properly before use.
