Laser Hair Removal Treatment

Laser hair removal works using a process called selective photothermolysis. The device emits a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. This light energy converts into heat, damaging the follicle and inhibiting or delaying future hair growth without harming the surrounding skin.

It provides long-term hair reduction rather than 100% permanent removal. Because hair grows in different cycles (anagen, catagen, and telogen), the laser is only effective on hair in its active growth phase (anagen). Most clients require 6 to 8 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results, followed by occasional touch-up treatments once or twice a year.

Most modern machines (especially those with advanced contact-cooling technology) make the treatment virtually painless, often described as a mild snapping sensation or a slight warming feeling.
