Fast Pink E Pigment Red 122 for Paint Coating & Printing Inks

Main applications include automotive OEM and refinish coatings, industrial paints, powder coatings, coil coatings, architectural paints, offset inks, solvent-based inks, water-based inks, flexographic inks, gravure inks, plastics including PS, ABS, PC, PVC, PP, PE, and PBT, rubber, synthetic fiber dope dyeing, and textile printing. It is also FDA compliant for food contact applications.

Key fastness properties include light fastness Grade 7-8 (8-grade scale), heat resistance up to 280-300 degrees C, acid resistance Grade 5, alkali resistance Grade 5, water resistance Grade 5, solvent resistance Grade 5, migration resistance Grade 5, and excellent weather fastness. It also offers sterilization fastness and calendering fastness.

Pigment Red 122 offers excellent heat stability up to 280-300 degrees C. This makes it suitable for high-temperature plastic processing including injection molding and extrusion of engineering plastics such as PC, ABS, and PBT. Some grades can reach up to 450 degrees C in certain applications. It is a low-warpage pigment recommended for fiber, film, and thin-wall applications.

Pigment Red 122 delivers a very bright bluish red shade, which is usually described as pink or magenta. It has very high tinting strength and excellent color purity. It offers outstanding dispersability, making it suitable for high-end applications and coloration of most plastics.
