Permanent Yellow Hr Pigment Yellow 83 for Ink Coating Plastic Applications

Pigment Yellow 83 offers heat resistance up to 180-200 degrees. This makes it suitable for most plastic processing applications including injection molding and extrusion of PVC, PP, PE, and other engineering plastics. For applications requiring higher processing temperatures, specific high-heat grades may be available.

PY83 is considered high-performance due to its combination of excellent light fastness (Grade 7-8), good weather fastness, and outstanding overspray fastness. It offers approximately twice the color strength of PY13. Its superior migration resistance in soft PVC (light fastness Grade 8 at 1/3 standard depth) and excellent overall resistance properties make it suitable for demanding applications where standard diarylide yellows would fail.
