Vat Violet 9 produces a brilliant blue-purple shade on cellulose fibres. The colour is extremely vivid and is widely used in vat dye chromatography for producing deep violet and purple tones.

Exhibits light fastness of 6 (Xenon 1/1) and up to 7 at higher depths, providing outstanding colour retention on finished textiles exposed to light.

Offers washing fastness of 4-5, chlorine bleach fastness of 5, and soaping fastness of 4-5, ensuring shade integrity through repeated laundering and bleaching cycles.

The dye shows high affinity to cotton fibres, producing deep and saturated shades. It is suitable for exhaust dyeing, direct printing, colour discharge printing, and resist printing.

Mainly used for cotton fabric dyeing, and can also be used for viscose and silk dyeing. The product can be processed into organic pigments for various applications.
