Q:Can the light strip be cut?
A:
No, the 2mm thick aluminum PCB cannot be easily cut with ordinary tools. We offer professional cutting and soldering services for 3 or 6 LED configurations if requested in advance.
Q:Why are there two same appearance lights with different lengths?
A:
We offer 50cm and 20cm lengths. The 20cm option is designed for distances between 20cm and 50cm to prevent dark areas, such as in a 250cm setup requiring a mix of 50cm and 20cm strips.
Q:What information is needed to check project suitability?
A:
Please provide: 1) Light box depth, length, and width. 2) Single or double-sided lighting. 3) Waterproof requirements. 4) Dimmability needs. 5) Frame picture for accessory check. 6) Total quantity of light boxes.
Q:How do I calculate the required quantity of LED edge light bars?
A:
Install lights along the shorter sides for efficiency. For example, a 115x250cm box needs lights only along the 115cm sides. The max distance is 300cm. Providing exact dimensions allows us to calculate the correct quantity.
Q:Is the standard product dimmable?
A:
The standard product is not dimmable, but a dimmable interface is reserved. You must specify this requirement when ordering to enable 0-100% brightness control.
