Coal-fired steam boilers use coal as fuel to heat water through high-temperature flue gas generated by combustion, so that water is heated and evaporated in a closed boiler and converted into steam. This process includes the combustion of coal, the transfer of heat, the vaporization of water and the collection of steam, which is the process of converting heat energy into steam energy.

The daily maintenance of coal-fired steam boiler includes regular inspection of the working state of key components such as combustion system, water level control system, safety valve and pressure gauge; cleaning up the ash inside and outside the boiler to keep the heating surface of the boiler clean; regular blowdown to prevent deterioration of water quality; and necessary overhaul and replacement of worn parts according to the operation time of the boiler.
