Q:How to calculate speed using the encoder?
A:
For a 2000-count encoder, if 1000 pulses are output in 10ms, the speed is approx 3000 RPM. We also support direct speed value reading.
Q:How to calculate position for a multi-turn encoder?
A:
For a 12-bit multi-turn encoder, if the output is 16300, the turns are 16300/8192=19. The single-turn value is 16300 - (19*8192) = 7352.
