Q:What is the duty cycle (ED%) of the LY-0530B solenoid?

It is designed for intermittent duty cycles (typically 10%-25% ED). Long-term continuous energization will cause coil heating. For prolonged holding, we recommend reducing the voltage or using PWM control after activation.

Q:Can the 10mm stroke or 5N force be customized?

Yes. While the standard LY-0530B delivers 5N force at 10mm stroke, we provide OEM/ODM customization for rated voltage (6V/24V), coil resistance, stroke length, and spring force based on your technical drawings.

Q:How does the push-pull mechanism work on both ends?

As shown in the main product image, the plunger extends through the frame. When energized, the magnetic field pulls the plunger inward, causing the front end to perform a "pull" action while compress-loading the spring. If the rear shaft extends out, it simultaneously performs a "push" action.

Q:Is this solenoid suitable for outdoor electronic locks?

The zinc-plated frame provides standard corrosion resistance. For high-humidity or outdoor smart express cabinets, we recommend adding an extra waterproof housing or requesting our upgraded anti-rust plating option.
