Q:Why can't I turn off the device by pressing the button after SIM card installation?
A:
After inserting the SIM card, the tracker is designed to prevent accidental power-off. You can power it off remotely via the APP, or remove the SIM card first and then press the button to turn it off.
Q:The tracker can send messages and make calls, but shows "Not enabled" on the APP. Why?
A:
Please check that your SIM card has sufficient data traffic. Then refer to the FAQ in the APP to configure the APN parameters for your SIM card so the tracker can use data service.
Q:The tracker shows online on APP, but operations say "Failed" or no response. Why?
A:
A. The SIM signal may be poor, causing data communication issues. B. The tracker may be in a call or just ended a call -please wait a few seconds and try again.
Q:What is the difference between GPS fence and WiFi fence?
A:
GPS fence uses satellite positioning to monitor entry/exit of a large area (radius >300m recommended). WiFi fence detects when the device leaves a specific 2.4GHz WiFi hotspot area (max 2 zones). They work together for dual-layer protection.
Q:Why does the tracker only detect 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz?
A:
The tracker's WiFi module is designed to detect 2.4GHz WiFi hotspots only, which is the most common frequency for routers. Please ensure your WiFi hotspot is set to 2.4GHz for the fence function.
