If the normal voltage of your battery shows as 3.6V or 3.7V, the battery will be Li-ion or Li-polymer battery. You can also ask the battery manufacturer the material of the battery.

Q:Can I use this protection circuit board for my battery?

There are 2 questions to consider: How many cells in series is your battery pack? The protection circuit board you need to buy must have the same number of cells in series as your battery pack. What material is your battery? Only the LiFePo4 battery has different electric parameters from other batteries, so if you need to buy the protection circuit board for a LiFePo4 battery, please let us know first.
