Please take a look at the battery body. If the normal voltage of your battery shows as 3.2V, the battery will be LiFePo4. If the normal voltage of your battery shows as 3.6V or 3.7V, the battery will be Li-ion or Li-polymer battery. You can also ask battery manufacturer the material of battery.

There are 2 questions: How much cells in series is your battery pack? The protection circuit board you need to buy must be same cells in series as your battery pack. What material is your battery?
