The load capacity decreases as the boom is extended forward due to the increased leverage on the forklift. A detailed capacity chart is provided on the attachment's warning label, detailing the precise safe working load (SWL) for each pin position.
Q:How does the jib lock onto the forklift forks?
A:
The attachment slides completely onto the forklift blades. It is secured tightly via dual heavy-duty T-bar screw clamps at the rear of the pocket, backed up by an integrated safety chain wrapped around the forklift carriage.
Q:Can this telescoping jib be customized for extra-thick or wide forks?
A:
Yes. As an OEM manufacturer, we can custom-fabricate the internal width, height, and length of the enclosed fork pockets, as well as the overall reach of the extension beam to match your fleet requirements.
