Key features
Simultaneous Dual-Drum Transport: Designed with a symmetric twin-compartment clamping layout to double material handling throughput per transit cycle.
Instant Drive-In Fork Pocket Design: Features deep, fully enclosed structural steel fork channels that allow the forklift to engage and lift the attachment in seconds without removing the primary tin
Automatic Gravity-Locking Arms: Relies on a purely mechanical, self-locking jaw configuration that tightens automatically as vertical lifting force is applied, ensuring a slip-free hold.
Rear Manual Safety T-Locks: Equipped with robust, heavy-duty screw-threaded T-handles over the fork channels to lock the attachment rigidly onto the forklift tines and prevent sliding.
Symmetric Curved Arm Profile: Precision-rolled steel arms designed to wrap securely around standard industrial drum contours, distributing weight evenly to prevent structural crushing or denting.

Product Q&A
Q:Does this double drum lifter require auxiliary hydraulic lines on my forklift?
A:
No. This is a purely mechanical attachment. It requires no hydraulic lines, valves, or electrical connections. The forklift operator simply slides the standard forks into the built-in pockets, secures the rear safety T-locks, and uses the forklift's existing vertical mast lift and tilt controls to manage the drums.
Q:How does the mechanism release the drums once they are moved?
A:
The attachment relies on an automatic gravity-release system. When the forklift lowers the drums completely onto a flat surface (such as the floor or a pallet) and continues to lower the mast slightly, the mechanical clamping jaws automatically relax and open. The operator can then back the forklift away without leaving the cabin.
Q:Can this mechanical clamp handle plastic or fiber drums safely?
A:
Our standard mechanical double drum lifter is specifically optimized for standard rimmed steel industrial drums. For facilities handling plastic or fiber barrels that lack a reinforced top steel lip, we recommend checking our hydraulic clamping models or custom-ordering specialized soft-grip internal arm linings to prevent barrel crushing.
Q:Can you custom-manufacture frames for extra-wide forks or heavy-tonnage applications?
A:
Yes. As an experienced direct-to-market industrial manufacturer, we offer full OEM and engineering customization. We can custom-fabricate wider or deeper drive-in fork pockets to match thick heavy-duty tines, adjust the internal arm dimensions for non-standard barrel diameters, or increase the structural steel gauge for heavy weight capacities.
