What is a DC fast charging station, and how is it different from an AC charger?

A DC fast charging station converts AC grid power to DC inside the charger and delivers DC power directly to the EV's battery, bypassing the vehicle's slower on-board AC charger. This enables much higher charging power and shorter charging times. AC chargers typically deliver up to a few kW to tens of kW, while DC fast chargers commonly range from 30 kW to 360 kW.

We offer a range of DC fast charging outputs to match different site requirements, typically including 30 kW / 40 kW / 60 kW / 80 kW / 120 kW / 160 kW / 180 kW / 240 kW / 320 kW and 360 kW classes. Dual-gun and split-type architectures are available on selected models to share power dynamically between connectors.

Which connector types / plugs do you support for different markets?

We configure connectors according to the destination market. Commonly supported systems include CCS1 (North America), CCS2 (Europe), CHAdeMO (Japan), GB/T (China), and NACS / SAE J3400 (North America). We advise the appropriate connector combination for your market during quotation.

Is OCPP supported? Can the chargers be managed remotely?

Yes. Our DC fast chargers support OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol, commonly OCPP 1.6 JSON over 4G / Ethernet, with OCPP 2.0.1 available on selected models) for remote monitoring, start/stop, metering, fault diagnosis, firmware upgrade (FOTA) and reporting through a back-end charging management system.

Is ISO 15118 or Plug & Charge supported?

ISO 15118 (including Plug & Charge / automatic authentication) is supported on selected models and firmware versions, subject to configuration and CMS capability. If Plug & Charge is a project requirement, please highlight it in your RFI so we can confirm model-level support.

Can the chargers be installed outdoors? What is the IP rating?

Yes. Our DC fast chargers are designed for outdoor commercial installation, typically with IP54 (or higher, model dependent) ingress protection for the cabinet and adequate protection against dust, rain and splashing water. Selected models / gun holders may offer higher ratings.

What are the site and electrical requirements for installing a DC fast charger?

Accepted Answer

A DC fast charger requires adequate three-phase grid connection capacity, a suitable distribution transformer / switchgear, proper earthing, and a qualified electrical contractor. Typical considerations include available grid voltage (commonly 400 V / 480 V), cable sizing, network connectivity (4G / LTE, Ethernet), and local permitting.

Do you provide on-site installation or remote commissioning support?

We supply complete documentation and provide remote commissioning support. For overseas projects, we can dispatch engineers or work with a local qualified installer / service partner, subject to project scope, commercial terms and destination country. On-site service is quoted separately.

Do you accept OEM / ODM customization?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support OEM / ODM customization including enclosure color and logo, branding / label, connector type and cable length, power module configuration, language of HMI / user interface, optional payment & authentication modules, and CMS / OCPP integration.

How are spare parts and technical support handled after delivery?

We maintain a spare-parts list for each model and can supply critical spares with the shipment or as follow-up orders. Technical support is provided by our engineering team via email / video call / remote access. For major projects, we recommend stocking a small set of recommended spare parts on site.

To receive a fast and accurate quotation, please share RFI information including site requirements, desired power levels, connector types, and communication needs. The more details you provide, the more tailored our proposal will be.

What Incoterms and payment terms do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We commonly quote under FOB, CIF, CFR or EXW, with DDP / DAP available for selected destinations. Payment is typically T/T: 30% deposit to confirm the order and 70% balance before shipment, or as negotiated. We also support Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) for qualified orders.

Are your DC fast chargers suitable for outdoor public use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They are designed for outdoor commercial / public installation with typical IP54 (model-dependent) protection and robust enclosures.

Can one charger support two vehicles at the same time?

Accepted Answer

Dual-gun models are available, with either independent output per gun or dynamic power sharing between guns, depending on the selected model.

Do you support remote monitoring and payment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. OCPP-based remote monitoring, metering and control are supported; payment / authentication methods (RFID, app, QR, Plug & Charge) depend on CMS and model configuration.
