Q:What is the difference between PYB, PYZ and PYD?
A:
PYB is standard type for coarse/secondary crushing with larger feed opening. PYZ is medium type for secondary to fine crushing. PYD is short-head type for fine and ultra-fine crushing with smaller discharge setting.
Q:How does the spring overload protection work?
A:
If tramp iron or uncrushable material enters the chamber, the springs compress and the crushing cone lifts slightly to let the object pass. This protects the main shaft, bearings and liners from damage, then the machine resets automatically.
Q:What materials can this crusher handle?
A:
It is designed for medium to very hard materials such as granite, basalt, river pebble, limestone, iron ore, copper ore and gold ore. It is widely used in quarry, aggregate, mining and concrete batching plants.
Q:Is the discharge size adjustable?
A:
Yes. The discharge opening can be adjusted mechanically to control final product size. Regular checking and adjustment is recommended as the liners wear.
Q:Which wear parts need replacement and are they easy to get?
A:
Main wear parts are mantle and concave, made of high manganese steel. They are standard parts with mature supply chain, easy to replace and cost-effective for long-term operation.
