PYB is standard type for coarse/secondary crushing with larger feed opening. PYZ is medium type for secondary to fine crushing. PYD is short-head type for fine and ultra-fine crushing with smaller discharge setting.

If tramp iron or uncrushable material enters the chamber, the springs compress and the crushing cone lifts slightly to let the object pass. This protects the main shaft, bearings and liners from damage, then the machine resets automatically.
