Q:Why is there a difference in softness and hardness of the same knife?
A:
The elastic scrapers are ground at an angle using a water-grinding process. Due to the wear of grinding wheels in batch production, the thickness of subsequent blades in the same batch may vary slightly, affecting the soft and hard feel. This is unavoidable with existing technology.
Q:Why is the surface of the blade uneven?
A:
Unevenness is related to the oblique grinding required to achieve the elastic effect. The front end is ground very thinly at different angles, leaving inevitable process residue marks, especially at the starting point. This does not affect the service life.
Q:Is it stainless steel? Will it rust?
A:
The blade is made of martensitic stainless steel 420J2 (30CR13). While corrosion resistance meets basic chemical industry needs, it may rust if soaked in acidic/alkaline materials for long periods or left dirty. Clean and store in a dry place after use.
Q:Can the blade be bent?
A:
The blade can naturally restore after bending to a certain angle. However, if bent beyond the cutting range, it will deform permanently.
Q:Are there any quality variations in the handle?
A:
The back of the blade is hand-polished for smoothness, which may result in arcs and edges at the corners. Additionally, rivet holes may not be 100% centered in batch production, causing some handles to be slightly misaligned.
