Q:What material can it crush?

PU foam off-cuts, latex, foam skin, mattress and cushion panels, simple fabric, and quilted fabric with foam still attached. Mixed fabric-and-foam is what the claw rotor is specifically built for.

Q:Can it shred fabric that is still bonded to foam?

Yes. Quilted fabric with foam backing, mattress ticking and mixed textile all reduce to a usable chip. The claw rotor with 4 rows of fixed knives cuts material repeatedly across the full 780 mm width instead of dragging it through in one pass, which is what stops long fabric from winding onto the shaft.

Q:What chip size does it produce?

1 to 50 mm, set by the screen you fit. Coarser screens run faster; finer screens give a more uniform chip. Screens are a change part and any hole size can be made to order.

Q:Will there be dust in the workshop?

Configuration E adds vibrating dust extraction, which separates dust from the chip and gives a clean bagged product. On plain PU foam with a flat blade rotor dust is already low; on latex and foam skin the extraction unit is worth having.
