Q:Is the FB3 fully automatic?

Semi-automatic. The machine controls the sewing head angle, feed speed, corner slow-down and table height. The operator guides the mattress. One person per machine.

Q:How thick a mattress can it sew?

20 to 500 mm. Thin toppers through to deep pillow-top and box-top builds, all on the same machine with no setup change.

Q:What is the real output?

10 to 20 mattresses per hour, depending on mattress size and how many corners the design has.

Q:Can it sew a square corner?

Yes. Feed slows automatically going into the turn and the head angle changes with it, so small right-angle corners on box-top and Euro-top covers come out square rather than rounded.

Q:How long does it take to train an operator?

Because the head sets its own angle and slows itself at corners, output does not depend on one skilled sewer. Most customers have a new operator producing saleable edges within a few days.
