Currently the Red Zone lights are UL rated for regular types of forklifts as well as EE and LPS rated forklifts. This means they can go on any regular forklift and also on EE and LPS forklifts, but not on EX rated forklifts. They will never be rated for EX trucks used in very high hazard locations.

Suggested wiring is to ground the black wire and connect the red wire to the strobe light's positive wire. The current draw is minimal enough that the wire should be able to handle it just fine. You can also connect the forklift bluespot to the reverse alarms positive wire if you would like it to only be on while in reverse or if you lack a strobe light.
