The M-series surface grinders are divided into M manual surface grinders, MD electric surface grinders, MY hydraulic surface grinders, and AHD fully automatic surface grinders.

Regardless of whether it's a hand-cranked, electric, or hydraulic surface grinder, the Z-axis is always manually fed. A fully automatic Z-axis feed via PLC is available for automatic grinding.

The M manual surface grinder is a three-axis hand-cranked grinder. The MD electric surface grinder is motor-driven for the X and Y axes, and manually cranked for the Z-axis.

The MY hydraulic surface grinder is hydraulically driven for the X-axis, electrically driven for the Y-axis, and manually cranked for the Z-axis.

The AHD fully automatic surface grinder is available in three types: Z-axis programmed control, two-axis programmed control, and three-axis programmed control. Most require only automatic Z-axis feed.

The grit size, dressing, and operating method of the grinding wheel all affect the grinder's accuracy. It is recommended to grind the chuck first after delivery before proceeding with machining.
