Q:What materials can be cast using this silicone rubber?
A:
It can be used to cast plaster, polyurethane (PU), GRC, cement, resin, polyester, wax, and other similar materials.
Q:What is the mixing ratio of Part A and Part B?
A:
The mixing ratio is 100:2 by weight. Part A base silicone should be stirred thoroughly before mixing with Part B CA30 curing agent.
Q:How long does it take for the silicone to cure?
A:
The curing time is 4-6 hours at room temperature. We recommend demolding after 24 hours to improve the mold's replication times.
Q:Is this product suitable for food or skin molding?
A:
No. RTV2 silicone rubber is an industrial product and must not be used in food molding, dental, or human skin molding applications.
Q:What is the shelf life of the silicone rubber?
A:
When stored at or below 30C (85F) in original unopened containers, the usable life is 12 months from the date of production.
