The curing time is 8-12 hours at room temperature. For best results, de-mold after 24 hours to improve replicate times.
Q:What is the mixing ratio of Part A and Curing Agent?
A:
The mixing ratio is 100:5 by weight. You need to mix 100 parts of Part A base with 2 parts of CA30 Curing Agent.
Q:Can this silicone be used for casting metals?
A:
Yes, it can be used for casting low melt alloys and metals, as well as polyurethane, epoxy, resin, cement, and plaster.
Q:Is it necessary to vacuum de-air the mixture?
A:
It is strongly recommended to remove entrapped air in a vacuum chamber. The mix will expand 3-5 times under vacuum, so use a large container.
Q:What is the hardness of the cured silicone?
A:
The hardness is 28-30 Shore A. The general hardness range for this type of molding silicone is 15-60 Shore A.
