We prefer native 3D CAD files (e.g., .STEP, .IGES, .SLDPRT, .IPT). 2D drawings (.DXF, .DWG) are also acceptable but must include all critical dimensions, tolerances, bend lines, and material specifications. A fully detailed PDF drawing is always a helpful supplement.

As a general rule, the minimum flange length should be at least equal to the material thickness plus the inside bend radius. For example, for 0.125' thick material with a 0.030' inside radius, the minimum flange would be ~0.155'. Designing flanges shorter than this can be difficult to form accurately.

Please call out all hardware (PEM part numbers, thread sizes) and weld requirements (weld type, length, and location) directly on your 2D drawing. For welds, standard AWS symbols are preferred. Our engineering team can make recommendations based on your assembly's function.

Lead times vary based on project complexity: Prototypes take 1-2 weeks, Low to Mid-Volume Production takes 2-4 weeks, and High-Volume Production takes 4+ weeks. Expedited services may be available for an additional charge.
