Fixed Foam Fire Suppression System Bladder Tank Foam System for Transformer, Substation, Oil Storage Fire Protection

Bladder Tank Foam Fire Suppression System is a fixed foam fire protection system that stores foam concentrate in a flexible bladder inside a steel tank. Water pressure squeezes the bladder and sends foam concentrate to a foam proportioner (ratio controller), producing finished foam for transformers, substations, tank farms, petrochemical plants, and industrial fire protection.

Foam proportioning system automatically mixes water and foam concentrate at a preset ratio, typically 3% or 6%. Water flowing through the ratio controller / foam proportioner creates a pressure differential that draws foam concentrate from the bladder tank and delivers finished foam to foam nozzles, foam chambers, foam makers, or deluge systems.

The system is compatible with AFFF, AR-AFFF, fluorine-free foam (F3), protein foam, alcohol-resistant foam, low-expansion foam, medium-expansion foam, and high-expansion foam. For transformers, substations, and oil storage, 3% fluorine-free foam or AFFF foam concentrate is commonly used depending on local regulations and environmental requirements.
