The RFUS-XA-K protects its control electronics using an extra-thick conformal coating on the main circuit board. Combined with a fully enclosed moisture-proof motor, this barrier prevents vaporized grease, humidity, and airborne contaminants from causing electrical short circuits or premature component corrosion.

The unit features a complete stainless steel chassis paired with corrosion-resistant heat exchanger fins. Its integrated panel automatically closes its louvers when powered off, preventing grease accumulation on internal air passages and making the outer mirror-finish surface easy to wipe down.

With an ultra-slim 198mm chassis height, the unit integrates directly into aluminum ceiling tile grids. The electrical box is located internally behind the main panel, enabling complete service and wiring inspections from below without cutting additional inspection hatches into the finished ceiling.

The patented air discharge louver is engineered with an anti-condensation profile and high airflow geometry. By maintaining smooth boundary airflow during high-humidity cooking operations, it prevents surface moisture accumulation and stops cold condensate from dripping onto food preparation areas.

The unit operates as low as 25 dB(A) on low speed for the RFUS28 model. It consumes only 50W of power across all cooling and heating modes, ensuring energy efficiency and quiet operation.
