Wastewater does not pass through the screen plate twice, with head loss <=300 mm.
The screen plate has an aperture of 1-6 mm, which can effectively intercept solids larger than the aperture.
Vertical installation effectively saves space, For renovation projects, no modifications to the original civil structure are required, reducing construction costs.
The screen plate is made of polymer material with a smooth surface, which is not prone to clogging and easy to clean, without the need for cleaning brushes or high-pressure washing pumps.
The influent side and effluent side are completely separated by the screen plate, so intercepted screenings will not enter the clean water side.
Screen plates are equipped with uniformly arranged round holes, which can intercept flat solids that cannot be removed by other types of screens, such as seed shells, paper scraps, weeds, etc.
The thickness of the screen plate is greater than the hole diameter, effectively preventing hair and other fibrous materials from passing through or becoming entangled.
The equipment can be controlled based on the pressure difference between influent and effluent. There are no driving components under water, so operation is simple.
Equipment dimensions are configurable upon customer request. The screen-plate width and overall equipment height can be customized to match actual channel dimensions and site constraints.

Q:What is the working principle of Centre-Flow Travelling Band Screen?
A:
Wastewater adopts inside-out flow pattern, entering from the inner side of modular endless band screen plates. Suspended solids, hair and fibers are trapped on the inner surface of screen plates. The circulating band lifts screenings upward to the washing zone. Fan-type nozzles spray pressurized water to flush residues into the collection trough for discharge. Cleaned screen plates return to filtration cycle for continuous operation.
Q:What are typical application scenarios?
A:
Mainly used for MBR pretreatment, municipal wastewater plant upgrading-retrofit, industrial wastewater pretreatment (textile, food, paper-making). It is especially suitable for retrofit projects with shallow-depth open concrete channel and limited installation space.
Q:What aperture size options are available?
A:
Aperture sizes can be customized from 1mm to 6mm. 1mm to 2mm is recommended for MBR pretreatment, larger aperture for general purpose wastewater. Smaller aperture brings higher fine solids capture rate with slightly increased head loss.
Q:What material options for screen plate?
A:
316L stainless-steel and polymer composite material are optional. 316L stainless-steel for corrosive water quality, polymer composite features light weight, good anti-fibre-winding performance.

A:
Yes. Both screen-plate width and overall equipment height can be customized according to customer requirements, matching actual channel width and available water depth on-site. We also support custom-manufacturing to comply with various international standards.
