Q:How do I need to prepare the wall before I install wall panels?
A:
The wall needs to be freshly cleaned, free from dust, grease, wax, etc. After cleaning, ensure it is dried thoroughly. Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster, or clean, smooth tile. Any damaged, loose, or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled, and primed. Fill cracks with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth.
