Check three key aspects: 1. Surface: Look for a smooth, even finish with consistent color, free of dents and burrs. 2. Thickness: Main profile wall thickness should be at least 1.8mm per national standards; use a caliper to measure. 3. Material: Choose primary aluminum alloy (e.g., grade 6063-T5) and avoid profiles made from recycled aluminum.

Common causes include dirt or debris in the tracks, poor quality or worn hardware (like rollers or hinges), improper installation causing frame distortion, or insufficient profile rigidity leading to friction under stress.

Thermal break profiles have a strip of low-conductivity material (typically PA66 nylon) inserted between interior and exterior aluminum parts to break the thermal bridge. Advantages include superior thermal insulation, reduced heat transfer for better energy efficiency, and improved sound insulation and air tightness.

Focus on the seals/gaskets. High-quality products use EPDM gaskets known for elasticity and aging resistance. Ensure they are complete, continuous, and compress tightly when closed. Test for water/air leakage during storms or try pulling a sheet of paper from a closed sash; it should be difficult to remove if sealed well.

Safety is paramount. Use high-strength profiles meeting structural standards. Tempered safety glass (with certification marks) is mandatory; laminated or laminated insulating glass is recommended to prevent fallout. Hardware must have high load-bearing and wind pressure resistance. Installation must be secure, often using galvanized steel brackets for reinforcement.
