Three key checks: 1. Surface: High-quality profiles have a smooth, even finish with consistent color, free of dents and burrs. 2. Thickness: According to national standards, the main profile wall thickness for doors and windows should not be less than 1.8mm (common specification). Use a caliper to measure. 3. Material: Opt for primary aluminum alloy (e.g., grade 6063-T5) and be aware of profiles potentially made from recycled aluminum.

Main causes include: dirt or debris in the tracks; poor quality or worn hardware (like rollers, hinges); improper installation causing frame distortion; or insufficient profile rigidity leading to friction under stress.

A thermal break profile has a strip of low-conductivity material (typically PA66 nylon) inserted between the interior and exterior aluminum parts, breaking the thermal bridge. Its main advantage is superior thermal insulation, significantly reducing heat transfer for better energy efficiency. It also improves sound insulation and air tightness.

Safety is paramount. Must use high-strength profiles meeting structural standards. Tempered safety glass (with appropriate safety certification marks) is mandatory; laminated or laminated insulating glass is recommended for high-rises to prevent fallout if broken. Hardware must have high load-bearing and wind pressure resistance. Installation must be secure, often using galvanized steel brackets for reinforcement.
