High Brightness R-298 Rutile TiO2 for Decorative Coatings

R-298 is a new generation high-grade universal rutile titanium dioxide widely used in coatings (architectural exterior paints, industrial topcoats, powder coatings, coil coatings), inks, and plastics coloring.

R-298 features unique impurity removal and particle size control technology, resulting in low impurity content with small and uniform particle size, scattering blue light more effectively. It delivers excellent whiteness and a bluer undertone, effectively enhancing the visual quality of products with a pure and bright white appearance.

R-298 has color strength (Reynolds number) >= 1920. Advanced control technology ensures fine and concentrated particle distribution with excellent scattering effects, providing very high hiding power. Achieves ideal opacity with low addition levels, effectively reducing formulation costs.

R-298 features advanced particle size control, deagglomeration technology, and inorganic/organic surface treatment, providing excellent dispersibility. Special hydrolysis, salt treatment, and calcination processes produce softer particles that are easy to grind with low abrasiveness, improving production efficiency and extending equipment life.

R-298 has oil absorption <= 20g/100g. Low oil absorption ensures good flowability in applications, contributing to cost savings. Special organic surface treatment provides good leveling properties, enabling tight coating adhesion in paints and inks, while reducing surface defects such as pinholes and craters.
