Sr-237 Titanium Dioxide TiO2 Pigment for Plastic and Coating Applications

SR-237 is an R2 universal grade rutile titanium dioxide mainly suitable for waterborne coatings, powder coatings, and paper. It is also used in medium-grade solvent-based coatings, interior/exterior latex paints, industrial coatings, compound inks, flexographic inks, plastic masterbatch, polyolefins, PVC, ABS, PS masterbatch, profiles, sheets, pipes, leather color pastes, oil-based coatings, and more.

SR-237 features an average particle size close to the theoretical optimum for titanium dioxide. The small particle size scatters blue light more effectively than larger particles, resulting in a bluer undertone and excellent whiteness. Dry powder whiteness (WH) >= 97.0%, L* value >= 98.0%, color CIEL* >= 97.5.

SR-237 provides high hiding power and high color strength, with color strength (vs. standard) >= 180%. Achieves ideal opacity with lower addition levels, effectively reducing formulation costs.

SR-237 features special inorganic (silicon, aluminum) and organic surface treatments that reduce contact between TiO2 particles, providing good wettability, easy grinding, and excellent dispersibility in application systems. Alkyd system high-speed dispersibility <= 25um, effectively avoiding surface defects such as white spots or rough texture.

SR-237 features zirconium coating treatment, improving weatherability and heat resistance with very stable chemical properties. Rutile content >= 98%. Effectively resists UV radiation, suitable for indoor and outdoor coatings, plastics, and more.
